Shanker Heisnam lift singles title of Fenesta Nationals  

Master Shanker Heisnam of CLTA player lift Boys under 16 singles title of Fenesta National Tennis Championship held in DLTA, Tennis Complex, New Delhi from 9th to 14th October, 2023.

He defeated 7th seed Master Thirumurugan V of Tamil Nadu 6-1, 6-2 in straight sets easily. Shanker played top quality tennis with his cool temperament throughout the match. Shanker won the first set without getting much pressure and conceded only one game. In the second set Shanker maintained his momentum with his aggressive game style to beat his opponent easily 6-2 to close the set and match.
